48x40 GMA (AIA Club Store)      - Meets Club Store specifications, a more economical alternative to new pallets. 48x40 GMA (AIA)      - Same specifications as Club Store, but painted and plated pallets are allowed. 48x40 (A)      - No plugs or double stringers allowed. 48x40 (B)      - All pallets have plugged stringers. This is the lowest grade.
Neglect of pallets, after they are in use, can be a very costly practice.  Since wooden pallets are economically and readily repairable, a reasonable maintenance program is not complicated and will pay for itself when put into practice.
